Station #10 - Jesus promises His Kingdom to a repentant thief

 Luke 23v39-43

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

It is never too late to turn to Jesus, who accepts us through faith in him alone. It has nothing to do with what we have done or who we are, Jesus is ready to welcome those who ask for God’s mercy.

Thank you for your extravagant love, God, who gives mercy to all who are truly repentant. I pray for…(name someone here who needs God’s mercy)… that they would know your mercy and your welcome into your kingdom. Amen
