As a church we want to remain thankful for what God gives to the us and keep that giving going by being generous and giving to others. We don’t want to be a standing pool that just collects what God gives us but a flowing river of God’s generosity. We give away 10% of all money we get in as a church. Here are the three amazing mission partners we give to on a regular basis, and we also love to give one-off gifts to projects suggested by members of the church family.
Regenerate
Working with young people & families across London estates
Regenerate work in South London Estates to bring transformation from the inside out. They get to know individuals and help them uncover their potential and nurture their hopes for the future. They do this through various projects including The Bus (a mobile youth centre), the Mentoring & Coaching Collective, social enterprise (including The Feel Good Bakery), overseas trips and community festivals.
International Justice Mission (IJM)
Protecting the poor from violence throughout the developing world
IJM's vision is to rescue thousands, protect millions and prove that justice for the poor is possible. They are a global team of lawyers, investigators, social workers, community activists and other professionals, working in partnership with local law enforcement and justice system officials, aftercare professionals, NGOs, churches, students, parents, friends and scholars. They work in nearly 20 communities throughout Africa, Latin America, South and Southeast Asia.
Open Doors
Supporting persecuted Christians across the globe
Open Doors supports persecuted Christians in over 50 countries with Bibles, Christian materials, training, livelihood skills, advocacy - and in a whole host of other ways - so that they know they are not forgotten and can stand strong to serve their communities. They also seek to mobilise the church in the UK not only to serve Christians living under religious persecution but also to learn from them what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
