Do you have a child or young adult who likes to draw? Read on to learn about the St Peter’s Easter Art Competition!
From Monday 6th April to Easter Sunday (12th April) we are going to be revealing on this website and Instagram page an image with scripture, prayer and meditation each day as our online ‘Stations of The Cross’ journey towards Easter. The images are being created by folks from our own church family but we need one more for Easter Sunday, so we’re asking Under 18s to help us!
We need an image that depicts Mary going to tell the disciples that she has seen Jesus alive (John 20v18 and Matthew 28v8). Images need to be square, under 10MB and emailed with the name and age of the artist to Charlie by 5pm on Thursday 9th April. Winners will be chosen from three age categories - 5 and under, 6-9s, and 10-17s. The prize is a large Easter Egg from the Meaningful Easter Egg Company (to be collected or delivered at a later date). The winning images will be posted on this website and on our instagram page on Easter morning!
Any questions please email Charlie. We can’t wait to see your creations!
