Annual Vision Evening at St Peter's

At the end of April St Peter’s gathered together to thank God for the last year in the life of the church, to pray in the new year and elect the new PCC.
 

You can watch the review of the year video here, it's a great way to remember all that has happened since April 2014.

One church member said “It was a really really great night. We fitted it all in – eating together, prayer and worship, being creative, having an election, reviewing accounts, casting vision, watching videos and finishing on time – it was incredible. I went to bed thanking God for St Peters and for letting me be a part of it.”

Baptisms at St Peter's

Last Sunday – 18th May – 5 people were baptised at St Peter's. It was a fantastic service, the testimonies were really moving and spoke of the truth of Jesus transforming lives.

We heard from Seth about his experience of baptism:

“I was baptised to fulfil what Jesus commands us to do. It felt refreshing being dunked, yet quite plain and bland…until being pulled up and out of the water, that’s when the power kicked in. My week has been amazing, something was removed from me in those waters which, when Patrick prayed over me, left a feeling of being released.”
